Alicia Hollen has revealed her new collection for String Diva
With 2010 ringing in a new and exciting relationship with designer, Alicia Hollen, SMA is very proud to unveil her inspired new costunmes for our Divas!
Alica’s story begins at East Sydney design school. While graduating, she is chosen to showcase her talent in London and Paris. Returning to London, she lands the dream job as the personal assistant to the legendary Jean Muir. Through Ms Muir, her works hang in Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Harvey Nichols and Harrods. She dressed names like Lauren Bacall, Joanna Lumley and in Sydney, Australia, Gerry Hall, Claudia Schiffer and Linda Evangelista.
Hollen’s own label “Alicia Hollen” is launched in 1997, celebrating the achievements of the opening of her signature store in Paddington and appearance at New York Fashion Week.
Her journey into the world of high-end fashion has propelled her to international acclaim and respect as a true fashion leader.
Renowned for her eclectic designs, extreme use of colours and outrageous cuts, Hollen showcases her personality through her designs, testimony to her passion for individuality and independence.
Her collection for String Diva marrys her individual designs with the unique personalities of the artists they adorn. The stark Black & White of the textured fabrics strike a beautiful chord with like-coloured custom made violins from Epoch.
